Driving Instructor Training

Deciding on whom to train with to become a driving instructor can be a minefield - there are so many options available on the market. Choosing to train with me and LDC will not only give you the valuable skills required to enable you to pass the three exams but also provide you with invaluable business training on how to run a successful LDC driving school business.

LDC provides a comprehensive open learning course that integrates with the extensive in-car practical coaching and mentoring provided. Available for study as an iCourse on LDCs own online learning hub and apps as well as in hard copy form shown below.

The training we provide does not follow a one size fits all approach and you have three course options.

Option 1 – Standard Course £2,195 which includes:

• Personal LDC expert ADI trainer to guide you through the process from start to finish.
• Up to 50 hours of guided face-to-face practical training delivered in a flexible manner. Includes online foundation Zoom workshop training (6 hours).
• Comprehensive open learning package of materials and digital video resources.
• Access to our unique online ADI student learning hub and Facebook community.
• Earn while you learn on a Trainee Licence after passing Part 2, ready for Part 3. The course covers all the training hours you need to be eligible for this licence.
• Alternatively remain in employment helping friends, family and others so you can still acquire the vital on-the-job practice ready for Part 3.
• Join our team as an independent LDC driving instructor subject to meeting certain LDC/DVSA professional standards.
• Flexible interest-free "pay as you train" options to help spread out the cost of training (e.g. £795 followed by £140 per month for 10 months).

Option 2 – Premium Course £2,595 which includes:

• Personal LDC expert ADI trainer to guide you through the process from start to finish.
• Up to 50 hours of guided face-to-face practical training delivered in a flexible manner. Includes online foundation Zoom workshop training (6 hours).
• Further 20 hours of training held in reserve - 5 hours provided per unsuccessful attempt at Part 2 or Part 3 - potentially £800 worth of extra training, if needed.
• Comprehensive open learning package of materials and digital video resources.
• Access to our unique online ADI student learning hub and Facebook Community.
• Earn while you learn on a Trainee Licence after passing Part 2, ready for Part 3. The course covers all the training hours you need to be eligible for this licence.
• Alternatively remain in employment helping friends, family and others so you can still acquire the vital on-the-job practice ready for Part 3.
• Join our team as an independent LDC driving instructor subject to meeting certain professional standards and satisfying the DVSA's legal requirements etc.
• Flexible interest-free "pay as you train" options to help spread out the cost of training (£995 followed by £150 per month for 10 months is one example available).

• FREE 1 day Standard Check Course workshop to help you pass your first Standards Check after qualifying

Option 3 – Part 3 only Course £1,795 which includes:

• Personal LDC expert ADI trainer to guide you through the process from start to finish.
• Up to 36 hours of guided face-to-face practical training delivered in a flexible manner. Includes online foundation Zoom workshop training (6 hours).
• Comprehensive open learning package of materials and digital video resources.
• Access to our unique online ADI student learning hub and Facebook Community.
• Earn while you learn on a Trainee Licence after passing Part 2, ready for Part 3. The course covers all the training hours you need to be eligible for this licence.
• Alternatively remain in employment helping friends, family and others so you can still acquire the vital on-the-job practice ready for Part 3.
• Join our team as an independent LDC driving instructor subject to meeting certain professional standards and satisfying the DVSA's legal requirements etc.

I can also offer Standards Check training for existing ADIs who want to refresh their skills and strive to obtain a grade A on their next DVSA Standards Check.

Please note LDC will only sponsor PDIs on a trainee licence if they have undertaken a training course with us.
